Founded in 2001, the Island Conservation Society (ICS) is a Seychelles-based non-governmental organisation dedicated to the conservation and restoration of the country's unique island ecosystems. Today, ICS operates across several islands and atolls, including Silhouette Island, Aride Island, Alphonse Atoll, Desroches Island, and Farquhar Atoll.

Working in partnership with Niva Labriz Seychelles and the Islands Development Company (IDC), ICS plays a vital role in protecting and preserving the exceptional biodiversity of Silhouette Island. Through scientific research, habitat restoration, environmental monitoring, and community education, the organisation helps safeguard the island's natural heritage for future generations.
